• Insult her hockey team (Canucks) and she will insult your face. With her fist.
• She can probably drink the average person/hunter under the table. Haaaave you met her older brother?
• That also goes for competitive eating. Seriously. Dan's fault.
• Has a hint of a French accent. It worsens when she gets mad, and if upset enough she'll start yelling in French.
• Will wipe the ice rink with you. She was Captain of her high school team and college.
• Much to her siblings' chagrin, she hates guns. Firing them, holding them, everything. Why aren't swords a thing anymore?
• Since getting bitten she's heartbroken about wanting to have kids now as she's not sure if she's willing to risk the chance of them being werewolves, but keeps it to herself.
• Does not understand the point or fascination of most Anime. Or comic books.
• Would have been a chiropractor if the whole PR thing didn't work out.

Being part of the Lakatos legacy is something of a bittersweet reality. When she was only eight years old, their mother died -- leaving the Lakatos family without the maternal warmth and guidance Mabel had provided. To her dismay, her older brothers soon began to hunt with their father, causing Hannah to grow up a lot faster than most should be expected. This meant keeping up with household duties, taking care of younger siblings, and by middle school, helping sort out bills. Witnessing what the so-called "Hunter's lifestyle" had done to her older brothers, Hannah decided from an early age that she wanted no part in it. She allowed her father to teach her how to shoot a gun, clean it, but that was it -- otherwise, Hannah wanted nothing more than a normal childhood. She made it a point to stay home, and stay in school to be the first Lakatos child to graduate from high school.
When their father died, leaving them under the care of their grandfather who wasn't much better off, she began asking her older brothers, Joseph and Daniel, to stop hunting for sake of their younger siblings. It was clear that the Lakatos family was gradually being picked apart. Finally, when their grandfather passed, and her older brothers began to start training the younger siblings... Hannah had had enough. When her brothers relentlessly continued the hunting, insisting the best interests of the family and their safety were in mind, Hannah cut ties. She post-poned college and took on the responsibility of making sure Sam, Rose, and Mike all made it through high school -- more focused on where their life was going rather than how much ammunition they had. It was the hardest thing to do, shutting out her brothers, as well as extended family, but she saw it necessary for the survival of her younger siblings.
Hannah got a house, and worked two part time jobs in order to stay afloat and provide a semi-normal life for her siblings. Despite her strong objections to the lifestyle, Hannah still kept in contact with local family friends, who were also hunters, in order to keep tabs on her brothers, especially. As such, it was only a year before she had gotten word that Joseph had been killed -- meaning Daniel was now alone. Hannah considered reaching out to her only surviving older brother; however, upon having to defend the house and lives or her siblings as they became targets, she decided against it.
Once Rose, Sam, and Mike were able to fend for themselves, having jobs of their own, Hannah finally went back to college for journalism and public relations. Her life finally seemed to have reached a steady, almost normal state -- she started dating, she was even playing hockey again, Captain of her university's team. In her senior year she got an internship with the Hamilton Bulldogs -- who later hired her upon graduation.
The loss of her younger brother, Sam, was abruptly sobering and caused Hannah to withdraw from her social life, and what sad excuse for a romantic life she had attempted to start. It was a painful reminder that despite her best intentions and efforts to keep her siblings from the grave fate of being a hunter, it still found a way to reach them.
A year later, she was promoted, joining the "big leagues" as PR for the Montreal Canadiens as she had allowed herself to be consumed in her work to the point of obsession. Which was when she let her guard down, forgetting for a short time that she was a Lakatos and didn't need to be suspicious of everyone she met, or question the intentions of strangers. A week before her thirty-first birthday, her car got stuck in the snow on the way home -- sleep-deprived and frustrated with herself, Hannah decided to walk the remaining two and a half miles home and unexpectedly found herself face to face with a werewolf. She had no real chance in coming out of the encounter unharmed, but what little training she had allowed her to escape with her life. Or what was to become of it. Hannah was in denial at first, having thought she could cover it all up and not alarm her siblings but as the following full moon approached, her demeanor changed and new alarming habits arose.
Without warning -- Hannah resigned her PR job, ditched her phone, her belongings, any trackable paper trail that could possibly lead her family to her, and made her way to the only place she could think of... Lebanon, Kansas. She remembered stories from her father and uncles about a secret society who was known to aid hunters and slayers alike. Feeling as though it was her only solution, and safe haven, Hannah sought out the Men of Letters -- only they ended up finding her first, during a full moon. They offered her sanctuary if, in return, she allowed them to study her. Hannah learned a few things along the way -- much about her family's history, and the current whereabouts of her brother, Daniel. Which is what lead her to Seattle, the supernatural melting pot and ground zero of an impending war.
short lyric/quote here.
ABILITIES: Hannah is a lone, bitten werewolf, so her strength is weaker than a pureblood werewolf but greater than a shifter's. She has less control over shifting so really, a bad day at work can cause her to "wolf out." As with all Weres, werewolves can shift from their animal form to human form at will, except during nights of the full moon. Her wolf form is that of a black wolf.
She has a half-wolf, half-human form which consists of sharp claws, larger fanged teeth, wolf eyes and faint sprouts of hair covering the backs of her hands and sides of her face.
Biologically, there are very few differences between humans and werewolves. They are not immortal, and their rate of aging and expected life span is the same as humans. They have the same needs and weaknesses as humans. The one biological difference between werewolves and humans is body temperature; werewolves are slightly warmer than humans.
They have a vulnerability to silver and regardless of their strength, even during the full moon, can be held down with silver chains.
